Introduction to GRANTnet

Do you want information on sources of available funding? Kirklees Council subscribes to GRANTnet,
which is a user-friendly, interactive service which allows the user, free of charge, to get up-to-date information
on funding and grants through the internet, with the information tailored to specific needs.
Who can access GRANTnet?
Anyone can access GRANTnet. All you need to do is register your details and log in using the password which will be
emailed to you. This short registration will give you immediate, free and unrestricted access to a comprehensive
database of funding opportunities. You can browse or search on behalf of your own organisation. Registration is
necessary to measure the use and value of continuing to provide this information service.
What happens to my funding search on GRANTnet?
When you have completed your GRANTnet search you will receive details of all the funding schemes which match your
search criteria.
Users' input and search results will be made available to Kirklees Council who will be able to
provide more detailed information and guidance on the schemes if requested. Personal information will not be made
available to any third parties.
Where does the information in the database come from?
GRANTnet accesses the renowned Grantfinder database. All the information is gathered from primary sources by
experienced Grantfinder researchers. The information is constantly being updated, up to 20% of schemes may change
in one month and new schemes are constantly being introduced.
What to do next
- Go to the GRANTnet search page and follow the logon instructions.
- Once you have logged on, enter one or more of the key criteria: Location, Project Value, Number of
employees, Applicants, Purpose. Further help information which is specific to each search step may be accessed
by using the Help button on each screen.
- You will receive details of schemes that match your requirements.
