Advice

Report the following to us. The Flood Management and Drainage Team may advise on the cause:

Flooding of private streets (unadopted roads) - it is the shared responsibility of the properties having a frontage to the street.
Run-off from higher land - Individual landowners are responsible for the drainage of their own land.
Water in cellars (not caused by sewers, drains, water mains or blocked watercourses) - Property owners are responsible for this.
Waterlogged gardens (not due to the above sources) - Property owners are responsible for this.
