New Bin Request

The council provides replacement dustbins or wheeled bins to householders in Kirklees whose bin has been lost, stolen or damaged. It also provides bins for new properties. When requesting a new or replacement bin please specify the type e.g. dustbin or wheeled bin.

If you are requesting a wheeled bin please also state the colour and whether you want a small or a standard sized bin. Please also give the reason why you need a replacement.

If your green wheeled bin has been removed due to it being contaminated you may not request a replacement until twelve months have elapsed since removal.

Please note that you cannot change from a dustbin to wheeled bin or vice versa without prior approval, as your waste may not then be collected.

To request a new or replacement bin telephone: 01484 414700 or complete the online request from below. Deliveries are normally carried out within 7-10 working days.
