We have a small amount of funding until the end of March 2010 for community and voluntary groups to help them
improve access to their local natural environment and work towards developing a green network in Kirklees.
Your green network project could be about:
- Creating access to the natural environment
- Promoting and improving local walking and cycling routes
- Raising awareness of the natural environment
- Encouraging community engagement and voluntary or local environmental improvement projects.
This funding is being distributed through the Kirklees Council Environment Grants Scheme.
