Environment Unit - September 2007
Environment.Unit@kirklees.gov.uk

Search for your house to find out how much heat you are losing through your roof and walls.
The average semi-detached house can lose around 25% of its heating through an uninsulated roof and a further 35% through uninsulated walls.
When you find your house please read and follow the advice provided.

Kirklees Warm Zone can make it more manageable for you to heat your home efficiently, especially in the colder winters expected. We are coming to every single home, ward by ward street by street offering free cavity wall and loft insulation. Alternative energy efficiency support including free heating for eligible homes and support for homes with no cavity walls is also available.
