The council operates a free service for the collection and disposal of bulky household waste from domestic premises.
Commercial premises should contact the Council for details on charges.
Items such as furniture, carpets, beds, extra bags and boxes are collected.
Electrical goods including fridges and freezers are also collected, but separately for recycling, refurbishment or recovery of CFC's prior to disposal.
The collection of electrical goods is also free.
Fixtures and fittings such as bathroom suites, kitchen units, doors etc. can also be collected but a charge is made
