As each test is finished, I encourage him to talk it through. If he’s made any mistakes it doesn’t help dwelling on them.

I keep telling her,the tests are her chance to show off what she's learnt!

Sometimes he just needs a bit of peace and quiet and time to think - so I make sure he gets it.
