You are invited to attend an open meeting which
is being held in April as part of the consultation of the Kirklees
draft SEN Strategy 2004-08. This is an additional open meeting which
has been arranged as attendance at some earlier meetings were affected
by the severe weather in February.
The meetings are open to anyone interested in taking part in the consultation, including parents, pupils, school staff, representatives from
voluntary agencies, education services, health services and social services.
The meetings will begin with an introductory session followed by an opportunity to visit market stalls which will give brief presentations on
aspects of the strategy. We will invite you to ask questions, offer comments and suggestions, and complete a response questionnaire. You will
be able to visit as many stalls as you wish.
Details of the stalls we propose to offer are on the booking form – please let us know the ones that you are most interested in
attending to help us to plan which stalls we should make available at each of the meetings.

You can use following forms in response to the SEN Strategy Consultation. Alternatively you can also send your own responses separately
without using these forms. There are four forms, one for each of the 4 sections - and the names of each forms directly relate to the title
of each section of the SEN Strategy. Responsdents can choose which and how many of the sections they want to make a response -
(the questions for each section are the same) Once completed - they can fax, e-mail or post them back to us - details are included in each form.
