Psychology and Specialist Outreach - A guide for parents carers and other agencies

Autism Outreach
To provide specialist support and advice to school staff and parents and promote knowledge and understanding of the difficulties experienced by children and young people with an autistic spectrum disorder.
Butterfly Project
Working with teachers and parents who are experiencing difficulty in managing children 3 to 7 years old, displaying emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.
Child & Family Consultation
We promote social and emotional skills and positive behaviour in children and young people, and provide specialist family and parenting support to parents.
Childcare Portage
Portage is a home-based teaching service for the families of pre-school children who show some delay in their development.
Educational Psychology
We work alongside parents, teachers and other adults to identify children's educational needs and how they might best be met.
Portex
We work with children aged between 3 and 7 years and their teachers, in mainstream schools, on a structured daily teaching programme to support the child's learning.
Sensory Impairment
Help and support for families and children with a sensory impairment.
