Independent visitors

In Kirklees, there are many children and young people in the care of the authority who would benefit from the support of a trusted, reliable adult friend. An independent visitor is a volunteer over the age of 18 who has time to spend with one of these children or young people.

We will shortly be recruiting new volunteers to the scheme. If you would like to find out more please contact Chris Berridge on the number below
