Working in education

Graduate Teacher Programme (GTP)
Allows schools to employ those who are not yet qualified to teach and to train them to an individual training programme leading to Qualified Teaching Status (QTS).
Kirklees Supply Service
KSS recruits teachers onto its "Register" of Supply Teachers and provides a one-stop service to schools to make a single telephone call in the event of the school needing supply cover. KSS wants to hear from teachers wanting to work or supply in Kirklees Schools.

Schools forum
The Kirklees Schools Forum is the legally constituted (Education Act 2002) group which is the principal mechanism for consultation on all school funding issues between Kirklees LEA and schools.
