We are pleased to announce that the Kirklees Early Years Development and Childcare Partnership quality assurance scheme "Quality for Young Children in Kirklees" has been successful in our recent application for Investors in Children Endorsement.

The Quality for Young Children in Kirklees Scheme helps childcare practitioners in Kirklees to raise standards in day-care. The Investor in Children Scheme is a national endorsement that has been designed to help parents and providers be confident that any Quality Assurance Scheme is a true mark of continuing quality, and will only endorse schemes that meet rigorous standards. Endorsement tells people that a provider accredited through a Investors in Children scheme is committed to delivering standards associated with high quality programmes and positive child outcomes.

Quality for Young Children in Kirklees is a relatively new scheme that presently has in the region of 80 providers working towards accreditation. Investors in Children endorsement will provide Kirklees with the national recognition to continue to ensure that high quality childcare is promoted throughout childcare in Kirklees.
