What support do we offer?

We work with teachers and parents who are experiencing difficulty in managing children 3 to 7 years old, displaying emotional, social and behavioural difficulties.
We offer a one year programme of positive behaviour management techniques based on clear instructions and positive social interaction, cooperative skills, language skills and the development of self-esteem and confidence:
- Term 1: Centre-based
  Working together with teacher, parent and child. Outreach work at home and school.
- Term 2: High maintenance
  Working at home and school.
- Term 3: Low maintenance
  Working in advisory capacity.

Examples of how we can support you

Working with children and their parents at the family centre one day per week for approximately 10 to 12 weeks, using management techniques based on clear instructions positive reinforcement.
Working with teachers and pre-school providers at the family centre on an intensive training programme, based on the same management techniques of clear instructions and positive reinforcement.
Working with parents and children in their own homes and with teachers and pre-school providers in school and pre-school settings, role modelling the language and strategies taught at the family centre.
Translation / Interpretation into other languages can be provided.
