Consultation Extended - Secondary sensory provision

The Council’s statutory consultation on the proposals to adopt a school partnership approach to deliver secondary sensory provision across Kirklees has been extended.

Artists impressions of new primary school buildings
Three primary schools will shortly see rebuilding and refurbishment works start to improve school facilities for pupils and teachers.

The artists' impressions below show how the changes at Gomersal St Mary's CE First & Nursery, Headfield Junior & Infant and Scholes First & Nursery schools will look in the future.
Gomersal St Mary's will see their existing temporary accommodation replaced with a major new extension containing five classrooms.
The improvements at Scholes First & Nursery will include two additional new build classrooms with direct access to outdoor play.
Headfield Junior & Infants will have their temporary and disused buildings replaced by, or incorporated into, a single building, which includes a three storey new build extension.
