Introduction

Kirklees Sensory Services provides information, advice and emotional support for adults with a visual impairment and also rehabilitation, aids and equipment for adults referred and assessed by a health or social care professional as needing the service.

The service includes:

• assessment
• information and advice
• British Sign Language interpreting for people who are hard of hearing
• lip speaking on request
