These storyboards highlight how a range of contracted services with the voluntary and community sector have contributed to the overall wellbeing of people experiencing mental ill health. Between them they have supported well over 1000 people, across Kirklees.

Active for Life is specifically intended for individuals experiencing mental illness. Active for Life aims to support people to develop the knowledge, confidence, skills and support networks necessary for regular physical activity to become a sustainable part of their lifestyle.
PDFCarers Support Service (PDF: 121kb)
The Carers Support Service is a specialist service for anyone who cares for an adult aged 18 to 64 who has a mental health problem in north Kirklees.

Mental Health Matters offer services covering every aspect of service users' lives, from employment and housing to community support and psychological services.

Gateway to care in Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Batley and Cleckheaton have accessible office which offer information and advice about the range of services offered by Adult Services, the health authority and hospitals, and other local organisations.
