Who to contact in an emergency

If a medical emergency needs urgent treatment you should ring 999. Tell the operator you want an ambulance. Provide full details of where the patient is and what phone number you are calling from. For non-emergency medical help or advice please telephone NHS Direct on 0845 4647 (local rate).

To contact Kirklees Adult Social Care and the Directorate for Children & Young People in office hours, telephone Gateway to care on 01484 414933.

To contact Adults Social Care in an emergency and outside office hours, telephone the Emergency Duty Service on 01924 326489.
