Get Going! has been written for people with learning disabilities and their carers in Kirklees. It gives you clear information about services and opportunities in Kirklees, to help you make choices and live the life you want.

It has been written in 12 easy chapters. Each chapter gives information about a different part of life, such as leisure and social activities, housing and money. It includes information about learning disability services, but also about the support you can have to do everyday things and how you can get more help and advice. The information has been produced with you in mind.

We have used Photosymbols in this handbook because this helps some people understand the words better.
