The purpose of an ECM Hub is to provide an open forum for practitioners to raise issues in relation to systems and processes (not focusing on live case discussions), access updates to the Every Child Matters Agenda with particular reference to integrated working and its tools such as the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) and ContactPoint and explore how your service supports children towards achieving the five ECM outcomes.

The ECM Hub is concerned with locality issues and resources for those practitioners working with children and families across a particular locality.

Each Hub is held approximately every six weeks, focusing on issues and resources for practitioners working with children and families across that particular Locality. They offer an ideal platform for networking, discovering service provision, forthcoming events and training and development opportunities.

The hubs will champion integrated working arrangements, whilst practitioners benefit from support from the hub to encourage the use of CAF and undertake the role of Lead Professional.

Any unresolved issues from the Hub will be fed back to the Multi Agency Programme Management Group and/or the CAF Operational Group.
Practitioners working with children, young people and families who feel they would benefit from attending the hub to enhance and support their integrated working and use of the tools.

Practitioners can dip in an out of the Hub when they feel it is appropriate. Due to the capacity of some venues, it is essential that you confirm your place prior to attending the Hubs.
