You should only use this form if you work for one of the following authorities/organisations: Kirklees Council, University of Huddersfield, Kirklees Neighbourhood Housing, Greenhead College, KAL, Huddersfield New College, Kirklees College, West Yorkshire Fire & Rescue or West Yorkshire Police.
Sell2Kirklees (external site) A partnership between the Kirklees public sector buyers. The site promotes business
relationships between micro and small businesses and the public sector.
Kirklees Council contractors undertaking construction work or otherwise working on-site at Council (or partners') premises or in service users' own homes are required to register with the Contractors' Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS) or an equivalent scheme, or to maintain an equivalent health and safety management system.
A number of other schemes are recognised by the Safety Schemes in Procurement (SSIP) Competence Forum as equivalent to CHAS and are verifiable by the Council, but if you are submitting a Pre-Qualification Questionnaire or Business Questionnaire for a Council contract and are not registered with CHAS or a recognised scheme you will need to complete one of the Council Health and Safety Assessment Questionnaires below, appropriate to the size of your organisation:
SCMS Procurement (External site) Supplier and Contract Management System (SCMS), the procurement website for all councils within the Yorkshire and the Humber region. It gives information needed to trade more easily with councils, and access to a wide variety of procurement opportunities across the region. Use of the site is totally free to suppliers and contractors.
