The Kirklees Town Centre Audit Programme
Information on our rolling programme of research into the economic performance of the principal town centres of the Kirklees District.
Town centre strategies
These are vision statements, agreed by all town centre interests, which set out priorities for action that are designed to enhance the health and vitality of individual town centres.
Commercial development briefs
These provide a planning framework for specific sites, setting out a range of development options and outlining the relevant issues that need to be considered by potential investors.
Shopping studies, research and policy advice
The team undertakes assessments of trade draw and economic impact for specific retail schemes and monitors shopping patterns and trends in the district. We also provide planning policy advice in respect of retail and commercial development in Kirklees.
