To Build And Where To Build? consultation

The Development, Planning and Information Team - May 2007
DPI@kirklees.gov.uk

This exercise was the first step leading to the production of a new development plan for Kirklees, the Local Development Framework (LDF), which will replace the existing development plan, the Unitary Development Plan (UDP). This took place between December 2003 and March 2004. The aim of the consultation was to identify how people and communities viewed their own areas and how they thought the area could respond to development pressures.

These reports assess how successful the exercise was and sets out what people said. They provide a summary for the whole district and comparison reports relevant to each of the area committees (11 in total).
