Do I need a licence to trade in the street?

Yes. Application is made to the Licensing Office at the above address. Consultation is made with Highways and the West Yorkshire Police and the application is then presented to Members of the Licensing Panel for their consideration and decision.

Will I have to pay a fee to trade in the street?

To obtain Street Trading Consent you will have to pay a fee of £135.

Do I need a licence to collect money in the street or house to house?

Yes. A street collection permit or a house to house permit is required for any collection. These are granted for charitable purposes only. Application is made to the Licensing Office at the above address.

Will I have to pay a fee to collect money in the street or house to house?

No. There is no charge for application.
