Design services

In partnership with Project Managers, Architects and other professionals the Structural Engineers
carried out full and part consultancy services for housing, educational, commercial and industrial
properties in new build and refurbishment.

Demolition
|
The Structural Engineers hold all the necessary Health and Safety expertise required to carry out
"de-construction".
Anything from garages to Power Stations, demolition can be carried out quickly and safely, as
can preparation for any future development. In 2003-2004 demolition worth approximately £250,000
will be undertaken.

Land reclamation and development
|
In the last 10 years we have co-ordinated nearly £10 Million of land reclamation and development,
with qualified Civil and Structural Engineering staff available to advise on Environmental Impact Assessment,
contaminated land and groundwater investigation and treatment.
Among other schemes the Structural Engineers are currently undertaking a feasibility scheme for the
second phase development of a large site for Economic Development Services.
As part of a multi-million partnership with Landscape Architects, Highways Engineers and Bradford
University, a scheme to develop land around Old Lane, Bradley has resulted in a very successful
business park development.

Housing development
|
As one of our most valued clients we assist Housing Services at both Kirklees and Calderdale with maintenance,
structural and Right to Buy surveys, remedial works such as underpinning and upgrading of stock,
refurbishment and estate design and demolition.
Recent projects include large-scale ground slab replacement and overcladding contracts for housing
estates in Batley, large scale demolitions for Calderdale Council and development advice on the Deighton
Brackenhall Initiative.
We also have an in depth knowledge of system built houses and considerable expertise in the management
and maintenance of council housing stock.
