Auntie Pams works in Kirklees to support women who want to talk about their pregnancy and birth. This includes planning a pregnancy and all the things you want to know about your own health and well being and that of your baby.

We always encourage women to make contact with local midwifery services once pregnant, as they provide key health checks and support right through to birth and beyond. Midwives often suggest visiting Auntie Pam’s to talk about any important issues that they sometimes don’t manage to cover at your appointments, such as benefits, housing, and well-being. Auntie Pam’s and midwives support each other to offer you the best services throughout your pregnancy and birth.

We work hard to support our local midwifery services and through Auntie Pam’s, you can share your experiences and stories (good and not so good). We can pass these on (anonymously) to the regional managers, so you can influence how our local services are shaped to fit local needs.
