They are a number of ways in which you can add quality to your tourism business. For example, Kirklees Tourism

Scheme.
Other schemes also exist to enhance quality, for example the Visitor Attractions Quality Assessment Scheme (VAQAS)
for attractions, The Walkers Welcome Scheme for accommodation offering a value-added product for walkers and the
National Accessible Scheme which aims to promote establishments which are suitable for mobility, visually or
hearing impaired guests.
Customer care training opportunities exists for tourism businesses, under the banner 'Welcome to Excellence'. This
is a suite of courses designed for new and more experienced staff or volunteers working within tourism. Courses
cover all aspects of customer care, including day-to-day customer interaction, communicating effectively and
responding to different needs and expectations, how to benefit from e-business and much more!
Contact Kirklees Tourism for more information on any of the above.
