Can the surface by repaired/maintained?
Yes - if it is recorded as a public right of way the responsibility of the route rests with the Council. If you wish to report a problem please complete the service request form with the relevant details. On receipt, an Officer will visit the site and issue the appropriate works.

No - if the route is not a public right of way it will not be maintained by the Council or if there is a private vehicular use that is causing the damage - in these circumstances the Council will contact the responsible party asking them to undertake the necessary repairs.
