I was prevented from using the route - is it a public right of way ?
To find out if it is a public right of way please complete the service request form with all the relevant details. On receipt, an officer will check if the route is recorded as a public right of way. Can something be done to clarify the route ?
Yes, an officer will visit the site and assess the most appropriate method of marking out the route and arrange for waymarking of the route. If you wish to clarify a route please complete the service request form.

Can something be done about an aggressive dog?
Yes, if you wish to report an aggressive dog on a public right of way please complete the service request form. The problem will be forwarded to our dog warden unit. Can something be done about an aggressive landowner?
Yes, an officer will visit the landowner to clarify the situation and explain the possible consequences of their action. If the situation is considered more serious the matter should be reported to the police.
