Welcome to the website for Credit Unions in Kirklees

Kirklees Credit Unions are a group of non profit making financial co-operatives that are run by their own members to encourage members to save money on a regular basis. Regular savers may then access loans at fair and reasonable rates if they wish.

Credit Unions are a local, ethical and approachable service. There are no hidden charges or fees on any of our products. Unlike banks, there are no shareholders to pay, so most of the profit is shared out amongst members each year. As a member you will also receive free life insurance on savings and loans (subject to age and health).

To make it as easy as possible for you to manage your money, there are a number of local collection points. You will find one in Huddersfield, Dewsbury, Thornhill, Marsden, Meltham, Slaithwaite, Newsome and Brackenhall. Members may also pay in by standing order, payroll deduction or through Paypoint.

Anyone who lives or works in Kirklees can join a Credit Union – So what are you waiting for?!
