Introducing e-billing

We're introducing e-billing (electronic billing) for our council tax and business rates customers who prefer to do business online. This service is totally free of charge.

Our range of safe and secure online services mean you can now:

  • receive your bill quicker
  • view your account balance and transactions at any time
  • make a payment, sign up for Direct Debit, or change your instalment plan
  • help the environment by reducing the amount of paper we use

How does it work?

e-billing is a new service and we're not quite ready to accept registrations yet. However, you can let us know you're interested in receiving electronic bills by giving us your email address now using the relevant form below.

When we're ready to offer the e-billing service we'll send a message to your specified email account containing a link to the registration form. All you'll need to do is go online and complete your registration. We expect to be able to do this at the end of Summer 2011.

Once you've registered to receive your bills electronically, we will not send you any paper bills. Instead, whenever a new bill is generated, we'll send a message to your specified email account to tell you there's one to view online.

Should you fall behind with your payments, we'll also send you an electronic reminder. If we need to take any further recovery action however, we will revert to paper documents.

Let us know if you're interested

If you're interested in receiving future bills electronically, you can tell us now using the relevant form below.

We'll keep you updated with our progress and once we're ready to offer the e-billing service we'll email you with a link to the registration form.

To let us know you're interested, you'll need your council tax, or business rates account number and your preferred email address to hand.
