Local housing allowance (LHA) rates

Below is the table of weekly local housing allowance rates for this month that we use to calculate the maximum housing benefit we can grant for private rented claims. We also use your household income, savings and circumstances to work out your final benefit entitlement.

There are two different local housing allowance areas in Kirklees:
  • Kirklees (this covers 96% of our area);
  • Bradford & South Dales (this covers parts of Birkenshaw and a small area around it).
