Local Ashbrow groups encouraged to apply for Community First Panel grants

Local community and voluntary groups working in the Ashbrow area of Huddersfield are being encouraged to come forward to apply for grants of anything between £250 and £2,500 per year per project from the Ashbrow Community First Panel, which is one of 11 in Kirklees. Funding is being made available over 3 years with the first Kirklees application deadline of 30 June 2012.

KIRKLEES TRAVEL TRAINING – MEET THE FUNDER EVENT

Kirklees Council’s Wellbeing & Communities and Children & Young People’s Service have funding to provide a travel training service to promote independence for people aged 14 and above with special educational needs, and all vulnerable adult groups.

Private, voluntary and community organisations have been invited to a ‘Meet the Funder’ event, organised by the council, on 15th May.
