On-TRAK is the new Alcohol Service for Kirklees, funded by NHS Kirklees and Kirklees Council. Operating as a partnership between Lifeline and Community Links, the service is aimed mainly at moderately and severely dependent drinkers. It provides comprehensive treatment provision for people experiencing problems with alcohol within Kirklees.

Bogus callers get the cold shoulder in Kirkburton

Five hundred ‘Bogus Caller Information Packs’ are to be handed out across Kirkburton and Denby Dale to older members of the community. They have been designed to offer guidance and advice to residents who can often be the most vulnerable.
